Enniskillen is popular for shopping from surrounding counties and beyond (even Dublin!) And especially at Christmas when the city is buzzing with bargain hunters.
The Erneside Shopping Centre is a popular port of call. There are many parking spaces, so do not worry here.
Inside, there are a number of well known stores including, Harry Corry, next, Lifestyle Sports, Barratts Shoes, Exhibit, Adams, H Samuels, Argos, New Look, Monsoon, Claire's Accessories andMiles.
There's also Semi Chem, health and beauty retailer. Here you can choose your favorite scent, and all types of lotions and potions at really good prices. This is very popular with buyers from the districts of the south and when you consider the exchange rate is still great value for money.
If you have children with you on Santa's Grotto - you can not go wrong, is right in the middle of the mall.
At the center ofonly on the pedestrian bridge on the back of the mall - is about 5 minutes.
A place that always has the eye, if the bridge is Crabtree Cottage (near the traffic light). Usually it's all decorated for Christmas and is definitely worth looking into - Pressies is full of unique Christmas decorations. From here just a minute walk to the main road.
Here are a number of popular stores including Topshop,Boots, Gordon's Chemist, Woolworths, Dorothy Perkins, Heatons, and one of my favorite Houston at the top of the road. It sells women, men, gift ideas, and also has a section housing a number of popular high street shops. These include Warehouse, Bay, Principles, Oasis and Wallis.
There is always a festive atmosphere on this street, especially on weekends, with Carroll singers etc. and if you feel hungry at this stage there are a number of bars and pubssmoking room.
The order of the list are the big supermarkets. There is currently no Dunnes, Lidl and Asda in the city. Asda, which until recently was in Erneside Shopping Centre - has moved about 100 meters you will see the entrance to the center.
Basically everything you need for Christmas are here. It could be the match, the decorations, all meals and drinks you get, clothing, household appliances and to ask for more.
Youcan pay in Euro or Sterling here and you really save money (the buyers of the Republic) and is particularly suitable for alcohol. No Christmas would be complete without the odd drink!
The Buttermarket Craft & Design Courtyard worth a visit. Formerly a 19th century dairy market, it now consists of about 16 craft units, a gift shop and a cafe. You can handmade jewelry, ceramics, handicrafts, paintings, is much made of the place. E 'open 10:00until 17:00, Monday to Saturday throughout the year.
Enniskillen attracts customers from both Northern Ireland and the Republic in the weeks running up to Christmas, and is an ideal place to soak up the festive atmosphere.
